Road resurfacing in Deepcar

1 Aug

ROAD RESURFACING
Some of the local roads in the Deepcar area are due to be resurfaced.
This work is due to start on Tuesday 2 August for approximately 1 week. A schedule of works is included at the bottom of the page.
Please note this work will be completed under a road closure and there will be no on-street parking on the roads that are being resurfaced. Vehicles left on-street may be towed away and you will need to pay a fee to have your vehicle released.
Temporary road signs will be displayed five days before work starts, confirming the dates of work and parking restrictions.
If you are away during the period in which the works are scheduled to take place please avoid parking your car on the road. Our work schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances so it may be necessary to change the start date at short notice. We will tow cars that are delaying our works.
Parking and access arrangements
There will be no on-street parking or vehicle access to properties on the roads that are being worked on, during working hours. Most roads will be open and on-street parking will be as normal at other times. Please let our on-site supervisor know if you need vehicle access to your property for urgent reasons. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be available at all times.

Pavement Resurfacing in Bradfield

3 Jun

Pavement resurfacing work is due to start on Fair House Lane, Smithy Bridge Road, Woodfall Lane, Mill Lee Road and New Road on Thursday 9 June for a period of 2 weeks. In order to carry out the work safely the roads will need to be narrowed to one lane. As the work is a 2 stage process, the roads will only be narrowed on certain days over the 2 week period.
Working hours will be between 7.00am to 7.00pm Monday to Friday only. Temporary road signs will be displayed five days before work starts, stating the dates of work and parking restrictions on your road. Please note that the schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances. Temporary road signs will be updated to reflect any changes.
Parking and access arrangements
There will be no on-street parking or vehicle access to properties on the roads we are working on, during working hours. Most roads will be open and on-street parking will be as normal at other times. Please let our on-site supervisor know if you need vehicle access to your property for urgent reasons. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be available at all times.
Vehicles left on-street during restrictions may be towed away and you will need to pay a fee to have your vehicle released.
