North Area Ward Priorities 2017/18

4 Sep

Every year each of the four Wards that make up the North area will produce Ward Priorities. Councillors are refreshing their Ward Priorities for 2017/18. The refreshing of the priorities may result in small changes, large changes or no changes at all. The Ward Councillors with the support of the Locality Officer will outline 3 or 4 local priorities that the Councillors agree they will work together on.

The priorities have been informed by the local community, consultation, advice from service providers and local statistics, which all contribute towards outlining the Ward Priorities for each of the four wards in the North Area.

The ward priorities will help to provide the legal justification for Councillors decisions about how they allocate the Ward Pot. They will also be used to inform local people about what their local Councillors and partners are working towards. Ward Priorities will be refreshed on an annual basis following local consultation.

What issues do you have in your community ? Have Your Say About your local Ward Priorities

14 Feb

We would like to know what people living in Sheffield feel should be the priorities for the wards they live in.

ward-priority

Each year every ward in Sheffield produces a list of three or four Ward Priorities; this is your opportunity as a local resident to have your say about what they should be for your neighbourhood. The ward priorities contribute to discussions with partners on local activity so you can see from them what local councillors and partners are working towards in your area. Councillors also use the ward priorities to help them decide how they allocate ward pot money to local groups and services in the ward.

Please follow the link below to fill in the short online questionnaire; although it shouldn’t take more than about five minutes there is space to add additional comments if you want to spend more time giving a detailed response.
