Stocksbridge Community Care Group have been delivering a quality befriending service in your local community for more than a decade. Resulting in additional funding we are interested in recruiting volunteers for the following projects:

We would like these stories to come together into a personalised Life Story Book that is pulled together through conversaton with the person and/or their family. Volunteers visit in the home or place of care and capture their life story.

Dementia Companions: Dementia Companions are volunteers who have been trained as “Dementia Friends”. They are genuinely interested in forming friendships with people who have the condition. Volunteers offer companionship in or out of the home.
