Positive Parenting Discussion Groups – New Dates for 2018

20 Feb

New Discussion Group Dates for 2018

Triple P discussion groups are for those who are mostly enjoying parenting, but who want to know how to deal with specific problem behaviour.

These are short small group sessions that offer practical advice for tackling a specific problem behaviour.

Groups are two hours, and you can choose from a range of topics:

0-12 discussion groups

  • Dealing with disobedience for under 12s
  • Developing good bedtime routines for under 12s
  • Hassle-free outings with children
  • Managing fighting and aggression for under 12s

Teen discussion groups

  • Getting teenagers to cooperate
  • Coping with teenagers’ emotions
  • Building teenagers’ survival skills
  • Reducing family conflict

Find groups in your area

Groups run at varying times and locations across the city. Visit our Facebook events page to find a course near you.

Alternatively you can call us on 0114 205 7243 or email us at sheffieldparenting@sheffield.gcsx.gov.uk

Can’t make one of our discussion groups?

Everyone has busy lives and we are all different, there are different types of groups you can access depending on your needs and the time you have to spare.

As well as our discussion groups we also run seminars and group parenting programmes.

Triple P seminars are for those who are generally coping well but have one or two concerns, or would simply like to gather some tips.

Group parenting programmes are for those who are finding being a parent a bit of a challenge and may find that three or more topics from the discussion groups would be helpful.
