Sheffield Parent Carer Forum have been commissioned by Sheffield City Council to develop, improve and update the Local Offer website. This is a time-limited project.

The Local Offer website is part of the Sheffield Directory. It contains information about the support and services that the local authority expects to be available in Sheffield for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Sheffield Parent Carer Forum are looking to appoint a part-time Website Content Manager (21 hours per week) on a 12-month fixed-term contract to assist us with this project.

This post would be suitable for a parent carer with relevant skills wishing to return to the workplace after a career break. Training can be provided as appropriate.

South Yorkshire Police are holding drop in sessions at Ecclesfield Library every Wednesday between 1pm & 3pm.

PCSO’s will be present to chat with, if you have any issues that you would like to discuss or would like to chat confidentially then pop along.

Streets Ahead Pavement resurfacing in Deepcar and StocksBridge – April/May2018

Please find attached flyer below regarding the ongoing pavement resurfacing being undertaken in Deepcar and Stocksbridge.

The flyer covers work that is due to start late April / early May.

Working hours will be 7am to 7pm (9.30am to 2.30pm near schools) Monday to Friday. (Streets Ahead team don’t work bank holidays).

Although the roads will remain open Streets Ahead may need to restrict access at times to carry out the work safely.

There will be no on-street parking and vehicle access to properties may be restricted during working hours.

The specific dates of work for each street will be displayed on the on-street signs in advance of work starting.
