Road Resurfacing in Deepcar

15 Aug

Carr Road from Hillcrest Road to Royd Lane is soon to be resurfaced.
This work is due to start on Friday 19 August for approximately 1 week between the hours of 7.30am – 6.00pm (Monday – Friday). There will be no work carried out at weekends or on bank holidays. The road will need to be closed to do the work safely.
There will be no on-street parking on the roads that we are resurfacing – vehicles left on-street may be towed away and you will need to pay a fee to have your vehicle released.
Temporary road signs will be displayed before work starts, confirming the dates of work and parking restrictions.
If you are away during the period in which the works are scheduled to take place please avoid parking your car on the road. The work schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances so it may be necessary to change the start date at short notice. We will tow cars that are delaying our works.
Please note that diversion routes will be in place where needed.
Parking and access arrangements
There will be no on-street parking or access to properties on the roads we are working on, during working hours. Most roads will be open and on-street parking will be as normal at other times.
