Resurfacing work in Grenoside

27 Jul

Resurfacing work is due to start on some of the local roads in the Grenoside area.
The work in the area will take place during the period from Thursday 28 July for approximately 3 weeks and we will need to close some of the roads in order to do the work safely.
A schedule of works is included at the end of this letter.
There will be no on-street parking on the roads that we are resurfacing – vehicles left on-street may be towed away and you will need to pay a fee to have your vehicle released.
If you are away during the period in which the works are scheduled to take place please avoid parking your car on the road. Our work schedule is heavily dependent on the weather and can be affected by unforeseen circumstances so it may be necessary to change the start date at short notice. We will tow cars that are delaying our works.
Please note that diversion routes will be in place where needed. Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be available at all times.
Parking and access arrangements
There will be no on-street parking or access to properties on the roads we are working on, during working hours. Most roads will be open and on-street parking will be as normal at other times.
