Sheffield North Area Small Grants – OPEN

I am pleased to announce the North Area Small Grants are now open for applications. Please find the links to the Application Pack below. The pack contains the:

– application form,

– guidance booklet,

– signature and conditions form,

– ward priorities; and

– monitoring form

The deadline for applications is the Friday the 10th July 2015. Three of the four wards in the north area are holding a grants round:

  • Stannington
  • Stocksbridge and Upper Don
  • East Ecclesfield

Applications should contribute to the ward priorities.

Please read the guidance booklet carefully to ensure that your group is eligible to receive funding before you fill in the form. If you are unsure about your project and want to discuss it further please contact the Voluntary Sector Liaison Team on 0114 273 4631 or email

Free Computer Courses in North Area

Digital Inclusion is one of the key priorities for the North Local Area Partnership so it is great to see Heeley Development Trust running FREE classes in the area to help people become digitally included. Local venues include Chapeltown Library, Balfour House and Stannington TARA. Click on the link below to see the full list of classes and the leaflet with more information.

You can join one of the basic computer classes across Sheffield. They are open to everyone and are FREE to attend! At the classes you can:

· Learn basic skills to get you started

· Find out about low cost equipment and internet

· Meet new friends

· Learn at your own speed with plenty of support
