SYPTE Have Your Say! Consultation Response

The results of the SYPTE Have Your Say! consultation are now published on the SYPTE website. You can access the findings at

In total they had 1570 responses from people who gave us their views on the areas covered – timetables, bus stops and shelters, interchanges and travel information centres.

The findings of this consultation will inform the SCR Combined Authority meeting on Monday 5 January where the budget will be set.

My Life Directory for Young People

The My Life is your Personal, Health Social and Economic education directory. It aims to give information, advice and guidance to young people aged 13 to 19 covering many issues which may effect a teenager’s life.

We might not have all the answers to everything you might wish to know but we do hope the My Life will signpost you to the wide range of support available to you. So, if you want to eat more healthily, become a volunteer or know what to do if you are being cyberbullied we can provide you details of someone who can help.

THIS SATURDAY at The Venue Stocksbridge November 29th 10am -2pm Christmas Craft, Food and Gift Fayre – over 45 stalls fashion items, jewellery, pet gifts, wooden items, ceramics, cakes, handbags, scarves, knitted items, hand sewn items, cards, books and loads more – should be a great way to get an unique gift for Christmas – help local traders, and crafts people as well as enjoying a lovely morning FREE entry – cafe will be open with homemade cakes etc. Please come and support us


Tuesday 2nd December North East Producers presents OLIVER + carol singing 11.30am Tickets £5 This show has received amazing reviews, It is family friendly, hilariously funny, packed full of well known songs, comedy routines and audience participation We will be serving homemade cakes & coffee if you wish to stay after the show.

December 19th 6pm -10pm FREE Family Xmas Disco all ages welcome – games, prizes, fancy dress optional


December 22nd Deepcar Brass Band with Brass & Carols 7.30pm – an evening of traditional and local carols and brass band music £6 each
