Equality and Fairness Grants Fund

29 Apr

The Equality and Fairness Grants Fund is now open for applications from not for profit, voluntary, community and faith sector groups. New and established groups are welcome to apply.

The grants are for activities that contribute to our Equality and Fairness Objective of strengthening the voice and influence of under-represented communities of identity.

The grants will particularly focus on people who face additional barriers and can therefore have difficulties accessing traditional engagement routes. Activities should help people to speak out from communities that are not often heard from and to get involved with decision-making in the city.

Grants of up to £2,000 and between £2,000 and £15,000 are available. The closing date is Friday 23 May at 12 noon.

To apply please go to https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/in-your-area/grants/equalitygrants.html.

We will be holding 2 information sessions to answer questions about the grant process and criteria.

  • Wednesday 7 May 1-3pm
  • Thursday 15 May 5-7pm

To book onto one of the sessions, please email equalitiesandinvolvement@sheffield.gov.uk or ring 0114 273 5861.

For questions about the grants, please email contractsandpartnership@sheffield.gov.uk or ring 0114 205 7297.
